Have you ever watched a little child playing in daddy or mommy's shoes? They thump around, wobbling awkwardly as they try to keep the big things on their feet. Their innocent joy is touching, but as I stand in the rather large shoes left by CrossLink's previous Executive Director Linda Cook, it can be more intimidating than humorous. Linda began a legacy of leadership at CrossLink as she blessed us with her strength, work ethic, and passion for the hurting. As she has moved on to enjoy her expanding family, the void left behind is quite large, and will be difficult to fill - such big shoes.

Certainly God is pleased when we, who have much, help those who have little. With so many in need, the task of supplying medicine and medical supplies to mission teams can seem overwhelming at times. To our Heavenly Father, however, it is simply the mission to which He has called us. In His three short years of ministry, Jesus healed many hurting people, beginning a legacy of caring for those less fortunate. Then He charged us to continue to offer love, hope and healing to those He called the "least of these."

At CrossLink, we have a unique opportunity to equip missionaries to meet the physical needs of those who are "least." There are so many who are sick and hurting. Throughout the world, hundreds are dying each day for lack of basic medical supplies. CrossLink has a lot of work to do - such big shoes. Won't you help us fill them? Will you join us in providing the needed medicine and supplies that bring hope and healing?
