Do you like working with data?

• CrossLink International is looking to fill an intern position for a Database Developer/Analyst.
• Intern will work 35-hrs per week for 8-10 weeks during the period of May 18 - August 14.
• Compensation is $2,750 subject to FICA and all applicable employment taxes.

Do you enjoy organizing data in an effective manner and delving into demographic details?

• Envision the needs of the organization and become familiar with the essential nature of data and fundraising information for CrossLink.
• Learn about and gain experience working with SageFR50, a non-profit fundraising database, and the manner in which it integrates with other software and organizational uses.
• Develop and analyze existing structure including writing reports and determining organization needs related to database.
• Design a training program for new volunteers to learn appropriate data entry into the system.
• Build out the volunteer module of database.

Do you want to hone your skills while using them to benefit a humanitarian aid organization?

• CrossLink International is a non-profit, Christian, humanitarian aid organization that collects and warehouses medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to be custom-ordered and sent with medical mission teams going to all areas around the world.
• Requirements include: student must have completed at least one year of undergraduate education at an accredited US college or university and be enrolled for a 2009 Fall semester program; have interest and/or experience working with databases (major/minor in similar field preferred); desire to experience a non-profit environment; attendance at a 1-day seminar, a reception and service project conducted by Volunteer Fairfax.
